It seems that higher quality base turrets don't inherit damage upgrades that vanilla gun turrets are supposed to get.
Laser turrets however do just fine.
unless extended description somehow breaks it, i don't have any mods that could change it.

As per FFF-375:

• Guns gain range.
• Ammo gains damage.

Due to jankiness in the mod, the laser "ammo type" used by the laser turrets gets upgraded damage when it probably shouldn't.

I meant that higher quality guns actually do LESS damage than Basic one, due to not double dipping on the RESEARCH upgrade.
The FFF doesn't say anything about them losing the exponential curve, only that the don't get a 5th multiplier on top.

Oh I see what you say. That sounds like an issue indeed. I missed adding those effects to the technologies.

Fixed for next version.
