The mod "Advanced Modules" lets you change the efficiency and slot count of beacons.

For example 100% Transmission Efficiency of 4 Modules.

Unfortunately these bonusses dont get carried over to the quality beacons.
Those still have 50% Transmission Efficiency and 2 Modules (Like the vanilla ones)

Should also affect Beacon Range but not tested yet.

I don't see the issue you are talking about. Ranges, transmission, and module counts look fine - the same between quality and normal beacons of the same type.

That said, the descriptions are missing which is an issue.
