The correct way is to translate the locale file only.
Please copy:
locale/en/locale.cfg
to:
locale/ru/locale.cfg
Then translate only the text after the = sign.
Please do not change:
- section headers like [item-name], [technology-name], [space-location-name]
- locale keys on the left side
- placeholders such as 1, 2, etc.
- formatting tags if any appear
Example:
[item-name]
ipo-solara-science-pack=Solara science pack
becomes:
[item-name]
ipo-solara-science-pack=Научный пакет Солары
The file should be saved as UTF-8.
If possible, please test the mod once with Factorio set to Russian and check for missing/duplicated locale keys. Then send me the completed locale/ru/locale.cfg file
