I've played around with the two types (Transfer vs Bin), but I'm still not sure what the difference is between them.
I think it's better to ask in English, as it will concern not only me, but also other newbies for this mod.

As far as I understand, in the case of transfer - we do not overflow the storage, and store there always only the specified value.
And in the case of Bin - there is no storage limit, all aitems (quantity) are sent to the storage for a single tick of processing the logic of the mod.
From the point of view of selling - these boxes have no difference.
