Adds 2 tiers Mining Drills, Solar Panel, and Accumulators that are costly but powerful and also lets you upgrade beginning machines to the late game machines.
The MK 2 Gun turret doesn't gut the bonus from gun turret damage, just the ammo damage bonus (gun turret MK 1 gets both and multiplies them, and both tiers of laser turret are affected by laser turret damage bonus research)
