Hover ALT Mode

Admire the beauty of your factory without giving up ALT mode. Just point at what you want to know.

Shows ALT mode icons for the entity under your mouse cursor only. Icons match the vanilla ALT mode in position, size and layer, taken from each entity's own prototype data, so modded entities line up too.

Shows

• Recipes — assembling machines, chemical plants, refineries, furnaces
• Fluids — pipes, underground pipes, storage tanks, pumps
• Ammo — gun, artillery, rocket and railgun turrets
• Modules — crafting machines, rocket silo, beacons
• Chest contents — chests and logistic chests, up to 4 icons
• Quality badges on all of the above

More entity types will follow.

Notes

• Does nothing while normal ALT mode is on, so icons never double up.
• Pipes show an icon on every segment, not every other one like ALT mode.
• Ghosts show their recipe, but not their planned modules — ghost inventories cannot be read.

Compatibility

Works with modded entities of the supported types, including AAI Containers.
