Helmod was created by Helfima and developed with the Helmod contributors. Szer maintains this independent fork for Factorio 2.1. It keeps Helmod’s factory planner and gives new features and fixes their own release cycle.
In this release: Use Send to orbit to turn an item delivery rate into rocket ingredients and the number of silos needed. Changing the delivery rate, silo quality, modules or productivity research updates the plan. The fork also fixes seven reported problems with the recipe explorer, custom recipes, rules, the quantity editor, plan imports and empty blueprint books.
Switching from Helmod on Factorio 2.1: Keep a backup of your save. Disable the original Helmod and enable this fork in the same restart, then load the save. The fork takes over Helmod’s saved plans, custom recipes and rules. Saving with neither mod active can discard the original data. Mods that require the original mod ID may need an update. The planner works with or without Space Age; orbital cargo requires space travel and a compatible silo.
