g Heat kettle not as useful

Before it was extensively useful - it's weird but it doesn't seem to work the same anymore, like it doesn't have multiple inputs outputs - used to be that side input, front input, would work for double ingredient recipes, and then it would output behind it, but now it just has front input and then side input, no back output .. kinda seems broken

Hmm... what recipe were you trying to do?

Trying to use the cracking - yknow I remember back then I could stack them together, with pipes on top, pipes below, and heat inputs on the side, then steam on the other side, and the steam would flow through the kettles (I use steam for cracking mod)... and it would work pretty op , it was great .. I could use it for plastic, I could use it for other chemical things like lube - it was still like batteries, acid, and other things wouldn't work idk why not - but it was pretty powerful - relying on heating as the operating power - so you would need a good nuclear setup - and it worked well to make circuit logic oriented efficient nuclear reactors using a reactor interface mod... anyway it was great back then ... idk

Um but now it's like, the top and bottom / sides, are all the same input apparently, there's no behind input or output, it's just flat ? and it doesn't seem to work the same

Hmm I'll take a look at it when I have a chance.

I took a look at this. Tell me what you don't like about this setup so I understand what you're looking for.

Sorry I totally forgot about this - Uhh yeah I remember tyring out the plastic one and it seemed to work just fine .. let me go look and see stuff.

Ok so, I looked and I noticed that it has similar issues, so when I try to do heavy oil cracking, it only seems to have 2 inputs/outputs - so water/steam goes into one input, heavy oil goes into another output, and then it's impossible for anything to happen - where as before there was a definitive output and the product could pass on usually to the other side of one of the inputs. Therefore I could have water/steam go into the side, I could stack them, and a heat source would be at the other side, have heavy oil go into the front, and light oil would come out the back of it.

Yeah that still works. I think just the arrow is broken. The output is on the side opposite of the pure input side. First picture I posted shows it doing exactly that

Ohhhh I didn't see that

Yeah I'll check out why that arrow isn't showing up when I get the chance but it should at least work in the mean time.

Cool, it does work. Wonderful.

I tested to see if it would turn steam into heat, into water --- it takes heat to turn steam into water.. eh, but yknow whatever it's not like you could use that or anything even if it did turn into heat in reverse .. so whatever lol nvm .

That is really funny. Fwiw I think the Batch Plant can do steam into water at large amounts.
