You only have one life. Once you die your character wont respawn. Similar to Minecraft hardcore.

Once a character dies, the user will be taken to the normal death screen with a respawn button. The user will not respawn after clicking respawn but will be put into spectator mode.

This mod does not overwrite the current save but does autosave after a player clicks the respawn button.

Have not tested with multiplayer.
