Grand Unified Factorio Theory


Unified equipment grids, smarter ore spawning, better integration of mods, and much more. Make rare ores actually rare. Make belt tiers beyond 2 meaningful. Put equipment from any (supported) mod into any (supported) armor or vehicle, or even just allow player equipment in vehicles. Remove barrel logistics entirely. Plus many more things I can't fit in this summary. And every gameplay-altering effect can be toggled in settings.

g Issue with Angels

Hey anytime I try to run this with Angel's Mods it crashes citing the file: Mod-Support/Angel/Fixes/Module-Fixes.lua on line 6

This line:
data.raw.module["angels-bio-yield-module-4"].effect["pollution"].bonus = -data.raw.module["angels-bio-yield-module-3"].effect["pollution"].bonus

It says "Failed to load mods: ...ctorio-theory__/mod-support/angel/fixes/module-fixes.lua:6 attempt to index field 'angels-bio-yield-module-4 (a nil value)

I'm not sure what is causing it, but it could be something Angel changed because it worked before I accidently updated Angels.

I've noticed it occur too. It can be worked around by enabling bob's modules (not saying it's a solution, but it should help debug it).

Apparently if you have Bob's modules installed Angel adds bio modules 4-8 but without it it stops at 3. I pretty much always have Bobules in my game so I didn't notice that difference. I'll get that out shortly, that should be an easy fix. My apologies!

Yeah I only noticed it while trimming mods down for the other bug, myself. Bob's electronics and modules are two of my favorite mods :)

Okay, there's a .12 that fixes that.

I'm sure there's more weird combination bugs in there given how complex this mod is and given that I mostly just wrote it for myself and figured I'd publish it in case anyone else wanted it, but testing every possible combination of supported mods would take me a very long time (let alone doing that every time one updates...). If you find any other case like this please let me know! It's fun knowing that other people are actually enjoying this thing.

Thank you so much, I love this mod it cuts down the amount of Algae farms and Greenhouses I have to build so I love it with BobsAngel runs I wish I had know it was as simple as using Bob's Modules lol.
