You say Wildlife, but what wildlife? Deer? Badgers? Snakes? Elephants? Tigers? Cows! Chickens! Sheep!
The biters need to eat too. (and I suggest biters do send out hunting packs to "bring back" food or eat on the spot)
I don't consider Fish to be "wildlife".
Maybe make the wildlife biome specific so for example you'll see parrots, snakes and tigers in jungles but lions, elephants and gazelle's at deserts, whales on deep sea and so on.
