This mod expands Factorio’s combat system by introducing hostile ships that attack as you travel from planet to planet. These ships may be small drones, or huge assault vessels with a hostile crew — all determined to stop your progress toward advanced research and discovery. Planet Guardians ensure you've earned the right to settle on a planet.
This is not a full RTS, not an overhaul, and not a standalone scenario. It's the next step forward: a continuation of the Promethean conflict that brings surface combat into orbit. This requires you to re-think your defenses and ship design. This mod is designed to work seamlessly with Fall of Promethea: Shattered Foundations, as those weapons and technologies will greatly increase your chances of survival.

Random Encounters in Transit
Hostile fleets may attack while traveling between planets — some light, others overwhelming. -
Planetary Guardian Battles
Every planet is protected by a unique guardian boss encounter. - WIP -
Dynamic Difficulty Scaling
Enemy crews and ships are based on Technologies researched. Biter Evolution and Cooldown will affect boarding crews. -WIP -
Tactical Space Combat
Enemy ships use turrets, advanced weapons, and even send in boarding parties to fight your ships.
Notes
This mod is in the very early stages of development. This version is the play-test version to ensure functionality works well. It should NOT damage your saves or change any vanilla assets. Read the ChangeLog for known issues and current features.
