Do you have any other mods loaded? The issue seems to be that AoP isn't finding the vanilla electric furnace in the root data which shouldn't have anything to do with EP. If you have any mods that change/replace/remove the electric furnace that's most likely to be the culprit.

I have a similar issue, and if this is the case the one mod that changes furnaces a lot (at least for me) is Extended Vanilla: Refining, which makes you able to choose a Furnace's recipe

Ah, in order to do that the mod most likely makes furnaces technically be assembling machines, so AoP can't find it since it's looking for a furnace. Unfortunately that will need to be reported to AoP's author.

I've opened an issue on AoP's github on behalf of anyone having this issue so look for any update on AoP's end.

I had the same issue, with a very similar but different error message as OP. Thankfully I found this discussion. However @AnderusAxolotl 's fix likely missed a line based on what I see in the error message. However, thank you @AnderusAxolotl and @Ink_Dash for trying to fix this, and getting to it quickly despite it not being a fault of either of your mods.

Attached is a screenshot of my error I got, which is very similar to OP, however its '...arc.furnace.lua: 10:...' in my error message instead of the '...arc.furnace.lua: 29:...' In OP's image

can confirm I'm seeing this again with AoP 1.5.16 and Extraplanetary 1.3.5.

Interestingly, it's NOT those two mods. Factorio Space Age run with JUST AoP and Extraplanetary Production is FINE. will poke at my mod pack to see which of the 2-300 odd mods it's from
