In case anybody was wondering if they can go ham and cover everything, the answer seems to be yes. Now I own a high end gaming PC from 2017 so this won't apply to everyone. However, I just compared my factory with and without the tiles and found that I got around 54-56 UPS with them and... 56-60 without them. I removed over seven million tiles across 12 planets. Now, updates can cause lag spikes around a quarter of a second but I learned to install in large batches. I would like it if I could set the update time to be much, much lower. Something like once a minute or five minutes. Since there's a console command I can use that if I get impatient.

For those who really need a more UPS friendly option, there's a mod called Powered Concrete that has a setting for how precise it is. I'm not sure how good it is overall but I bet if you set it to 20 tiles then it will outperform this mod.
