Yep that's really, a under floor heating mod would good.
Have been thinking about it. It's not exactly "vanilla friendly", and in the real world, having heating floor, on top of ice, would melt it...
Haven't discarded it though.
It melting the ice could be a trade off, it can only used on solid ground or that it could be used with the foundations
