g Question on a tangent

This is not a request, just my mind wondering.
If the different tiles had different named proxies, then it would be possible to not connect between those different proxies. Then tiles could be on a different electric network yet be adjacent. Would the magic sauce of your mod still function?

Well, it could be possible, but would require quind of a lot of little modifications and validations.

Adding different kinds of proxys for different kinds of tiles could make that option more viable for the mod itself, however a nightmare for other modders.

At some point there could be, for example, two batches of tiles, lets say, 16x16 of electric concrete and another 16x16 of refined electric concrete, that "simulates" two different networks, as the normal concrete wont pass electricity to the refined one.

In order to make this I would have to make some new utility functions, and dedicate some time to the mod... But talking about posibilities, yes, the mod could be upgraded to work like that.

I was playing around in debug mode, which is kind of fun. :)
And I was replacing electric tiles, removing them etc., just testing stuff, observing how it worked. And it occurred to me that it might be possible, if each set of proxies were "blind" to the other sets. How is this interesting? lol, probably only to me. :D

jsjsjs, probably some people also think like that, however at least not me ;-;

programming 1.2.x was kind of a nightmare (as im also in university AS WELL AS working in a company)
