Early Drones Logistics

by Racimir

A factory without belts, drills or pipes. Flying drones mine your patches and carry goods and fluids straight over the terrain, paid for in fuel and later in electricity. Replaces belts, drills and most inserters; roboports keep doing what they always did.

mind you, it seems to only effect main character equipment grid. My other vehicle's equipment grids seemed to be fine.

Thank you — and especially for noticing it only affected the character's grid and not vehicles. That was the whole clue. player.opened is a LuaEquipmentGrid for a character's armour, which has no name, and my refresh loop asked for one every tick. Vehicles open the vehicle entity itself, which is why they were fine. Fixed in 1.0.0, which also brings tier 3 and fluid hauling.

oop. I noticed because i went "ehjgiopuersnp8io ubgn8ubpotgvbt eorup8isbihbetg qrhui8jertb fvnihumpoj8b gtvr GOD WHAT ABOUT MY CAR" like a funny marine and i didnt get steamrolled by the zerg army for it. Appreciated by the way. also jesus christ how horrifying (your refresh loop). I appreciate the SURPRISINGLY FAST fix by the way.

Thanks — checking the car was the clue that cracked it. And yeah, the loop deserved that reaction.
