Dynamic Platform Lighting
Dynamic Platform Lighting adjusts the lighting and color palette of space platforms according to their solar power and orbital location.
Dynamic lighting
With the default Dynamic color mode, every platform uses the color palette of the planet it orbits. Platform brightness changes automatically according to the available solar power in space.

Brightness
Controls the maximum brightness of space platforms.
100 uses the full available brightness. Lower values make every platform darker.

Space platform colors
The Dynamic option automatically selects the color palette of the planet being orbited.
You can also choose a fixed palette from Nauvis, Vulcanus, Gleba, Fulgora, or Aquilo.

Always dark
Keeps space platforms at their darkest lighting level, regardless of their solar power.

Deepest darkness
Replaces the darkest platform palette with an additional extremely dark palette.

Solar power limit
Sets the maximum solar power value used for brightness calculations.
With a limit of 600, Vulcanus reaches maximum brightness. Locations with more than 600 solar power are treated as having 600.
0 disables the limit.
This setting affects visuals only. It does not change the actual solar power of planets, orbits, or solar panels.
Solar power minimum
Sets the lowest solar power value used for brightness calculations.
With the default value of 60, all locations with 60 or less solar power are treated as the darkest point of the brightness scale.
0 disables the minimum.
