Dispose in Liquids
About the mod:
Liquid tiles might seem inconsistent: lava allows item disposal, but oceans do not. This mod brings
consistency to the game by allowing any tile usable with an offshore pump to destroy items - while
remaining flexible. If you don’t want shallow water on Gleba or the oil ocean on Fulgora to act as a
dumpster, simply adjust the settings. Or maybe you don’t want any tiles to allow item disposal? Just
disable the setting for Vulcanus, and you're done.
Don't have Space Age DLC? Not a problem, the mod is compatible with a base game as well.
Features:
- All liquid tiles can be used for item disposal.
- Configure which tiles can or cannot be used for item disposal, including lava on Vulcanus. Tiles
are grouped based on the planet they can naturally appear on and whether they are walkable by a
character (shallow). For Fulgora, even though both oil ocean tiles are walkable, the distinction
is made based on their names. - Supports shallow water and marsh on Nauvis, even though it's unavailable in vanilla map
generation. - Depending on the availability of the Space-Age DLC, settings are displayed accordingly (omitting
unavailable tiles). - A particle effect is created when an item is disposed of.
- Particle color depends on the liquid tile it was used on.
- Optionally you may set all fluid associated tiles from other mods to destroy items (w/o visual effect).
- Optionally generate pollution when disposing of items.
- Configure the amount of pollution generated per disposed item (negative values absorb pollution).
Additional Notes:
This mod aims to be more flexible than the existing "oceandump" mod by Galadedrid: offering a finer
selection of tiles to configure, including lava, and making Space Age optional. It also adds a visual
effect when items are disposed of. Starting from 1.2.0 pollution is also supported!
