- When setting the ore radius to 0 in settings, you get an oil path in the middle.
This is nice, but I have to say water is more important;
since you need electricity (and therefor water) to do research
and you even can use cars, solar cells and barrels to extract oil from afar.
I suggest water at (or very near) the ore radius instead of the oil patch.
Perhaps an oil patch near (but not AT) the starting location?
If possible, ore near oil (or gas or thermal water) patches,
could/should have a lesser yield.
- When using both this mod and Angel's Bio Processing
(using Factorio version 1), still an oil patch is given.
The fun of BioProcessing is having multiple ways to produce:
using either thermal water, oil, gas or plants.
Having an oil patch sends the game play in a single direction,
it could/would be more interesting if the nearest patch is sometimes oil,
sometimes gas and sometimes thermal water (randomly assigned).
Is it possible to use a "abstract" patch instead of an oil patch
(when BioProcessing is available for Factorio version 2)?
Or can I better ask Arch666Angel ?
- Angel's Bio Processing (using Factorio version 1)
has two thermal water pumps.
The first having a lesser size than the latter.
Because the first one having an even lesser size than the patch,
the connecting pipe needs to be placed ON the patch,
so it cannot be used in DangOreus.
The latter thermal water pump is only available later in the game,
sending the game play away from using thermal water early.
Is it possible to allow pipes on thermal water patches?
Maybe for the easy mode, also handy for mining uranium.
Great mod by the way, especially with BioProcessing, AutoDestruct and ore radius=0. :-)
