I tried creating a map with both dangOreus and Bob's Ores enabled and noticed that the resulting map had only the ores from the base game.
Have you looked into making dangOreus work with other mods that add additional ores and such?
If you do, you'll probably want to insure that the starting area provides access to an adequate supply of the four starting area ores from the vanilla game.
