g Making a map-gen mod, would like to depend on this for functions

Hi,

I'm starting to make a map-gen mod, that is going to need many functions that you've already implemented here. Is there a way to tell this mod to be available as a library, but not actually do anything?

What I'm wanting to do is going to be a bit too complicated for defining it in a pattern the way this mod uses - hex grid, cliff patterned, and some perfect maze sections.

Sorry for my slow response.

Yes, I was thinking about the same thing at some point, although I didn't get around to doing anything with it.

In the startup settings for this mod there is an option that says "Enable" or something like that. If this is turned off, the mod will not do anything.

However I haven't updated to Factorio 1.1 yet so that might be another issue.

I'm always looking for new patterns to add, so if you have any suggestions feel free to let me know. Mazes, at least, I have already done some of -- back in 0.12 it was the only thing this mod had.
