g Awesome!

This scenario is great! It has put a new twist to the game that is extremely refreshing. I have never been a huge fan of biters or playing a death world, but the approach that is forced upon you in this mod is awesome.

I am playing vanilla other than the mod pack itself. I have at least 10 hours in the world and I still don't have ANY science automated. But my laser turrets and trusty red bullets keep me safe at night :).

Thanks! I hope one day to contribute something like this to the community!

My boys (8 & 9) and I finished the scenario today on challenging. What a great experience. I will say that I was surprised at the ending, I look forward to more content. I froze at the available options and the default was selected for me, maybe add a few more seconds before it times out, or maybe a count down.

We only had one issue with the trains. The first time I tried to schedule a train was before I completed the research, so that might have been a part of the issue, but as soon as I closed the train window, the train disappeared. And at some later point, the train that I built and had scheduled disappeared as well.

I would recommend randomizing the hunting party spawn location. We figured out the rules that governed the spawn point and made an outpost to ease the nightly battle.

I loved the incentive to explore!

Good to hear!

About the (current) ending: I believe there is a countdown timer below the choices, but it's relatively small and hard to notice. The available time to choose decreases with difficulty.

I'll take another look at the trains. There is some logic in there to prevent no-path trains getting stuck by despawning them to prevent the train sequence from getting stuck, but it should not despawn friendly trains. I'll be sure to fix it for the next patch.

If you manage to use the biter spawning logic to your advantage, bonus points to you. Nightly safety huddles behind a wall is the intended effect :)

Thank you for the feedback!

Also chiming in to say that this was great!
Here's hoping great scenarios like these continue to be updated and/or that Wube one day include a proper campaign mode.
