I have a Remote Configuration mod installed which allows accessing entities' settings from the map view. However, you cannot open processor settings that way -- no error message nor sound is played neither. BUT you can enter the editor mode that way.
This may be important:
I have bound "Open settings" action to two keys: Left-Click and Alt+Left-Click. While the regular Left-Click doesn't work, the Alt+Click does.
