g Flow Control coloring is suboptimal

Hi,

let me first begin with stating that this mod is awesome!
In the past, for UPS as well as for more compact layouts and no fluid mixing I resulted to using the Advanced Fluid Handling mod.

With the 2.0 fluid handling, the beauty of the color coded pipes and something like Flow Control, I'll stick to the color coded pipes whenever possible now, as the visual appeal outweighs the more compact layouts by far.

There is one issue though. The pipes from Flow Control do not get colored, neither by the console command /paint-pipes, nor by the Color Coded Pipe Planner.
If you want to use them, you have to enable the recipes for the desired pipes. Even though the colored icons in the recipe menu are visually very pleasing, they clutter up the menu too much, hence I prefer to play with no recipe visible and use the Color Coded Pipe Planner mod instead.

Also, could you consider adding the option for color matching from the planner mod to the /paint-pipes console command as well, either as a setting or specific commands? The command uses the rainbow colors, it seems, not the fluid colors, which I prefer.

(As this issue affects both this mod as well as the Planner one, I created the new thread here. I hope that's ok. If you'd prefer, I can open a Planner specific request threat in that mod's discussion area.)

Cheers

Thank you for this feedback, I am really glad to hear you're enjoying the mod :)

In yesterday's update, I've significantly upgraded the /paint-pipes command to support the existing (and future) modded pipes.

I've also added the ability to pass parameters to the command, so you can specify if you want to use "fluid" or "rainbow" color mode, and also if pipes should be marked for upgrade or instantly replaced. For example, /paint-pipes fluid true will mark pipes for upgrade using the fluid color mode. You can use a space or a comma to seperate the two parameters. They are both optional, and default to "rainbow" and "false" respectively if not provided.

While working on this update, I've also discovered some odd behavior when marking pipes for upgrade when the upgrade is hidden. I'm still investigating what's going on there, but for now at least the instant upgrade option should work as expected.

Please let me know if you encounter any other issues or have any other feedback!

Oh, I've also updated the planner mod to support the modded pipes.

Alright, I figured it out! Both the planner tool and the chat command should be able to properly mark the pipes for upgrade, regardless of whether the upgrade target recipe is visible.

Thanks, that's great news.
Personally, I've switched over to dealing with the color coded pipes directly now, right away, mostly because of No Pipe Touching and thus avoiding risking to mix two fluids.
The only times I am still using regular pipes is when I start building for an entirely new fluid, but in most other cases, the right pipe is just some quick map dragging and a key-press (Q) away.
