Brave New OARC Scenario


This mod is a scenario that overhauls multiplayer merging Brave New World and OARC for an awesome single player / multiplayer game. Play on teams or solo in your own base, while other players do the same. Chat with players, learn from their builds. You get to do your own design. You choose to play legacy character mode, or BNO Mode where you have no body, unable to craft anything yourself (lazy bastard) and must command bots to build everything. You start with resources and a little power.

I'm working on some compatibility changes to enable support of other mods. Nomad has reported Circuitissimo and a crash when a menu was open in FNEI. Circuitissimo shows a black screen when entering a combinator, this is fixed. FNEI causes a crash when clicking anything and menu open. This and any other mod using menus will now work with BNO. Planned release is 7/5 or 7/6.

7/8 - this not yet released, more testing and tweaking was needed, plus I was busy playing Maroons Space Block.
The Q key was not working properly, mostly due to no real entities were previously supported in BNO. Wire, and things that act on entities could be held in inventory, but not real entities. The combinators are entities, so they required a change to how BNO treated entities. Q works by loading the entity in hand, if you have it in inventory, otherwise it loads a ghost image of that entity. BNO only supported holding the ghost image. This is now fixed, and will load the hand with the entity in your inventory. This also primes us for a function I want to add which enables a host to define which entities are allowed in hand. This may be required on multi-surface mods like Warptorio, Space Exploration, where you may need to hold roboports and bots in inventory to deploy on new surfaces.

7/11 - new feature added which you'll find shown as the feature progressed on my discord server. All are free to join the discord and be part of the team of players that decide on games to play, and comment on features I am working on, many times helping sway the direction of the mod.

BNO Assembling Machines - larger assemblers, 5 beacon slots, crafting speed is decided by the host upto 100x. Host also gets to decide whether the assemblers will explode. At or below a 20% power state, they degrade 5% per second until they finally explode. The host has the option of turning this on, and during game play turning it off if they decide it is not something players like. The host can also decide to provide 0..6 free BNO Assembling Machines at the start of the game, to each player.
