Can you add an option to hide previews in some general settings? Alternatively can you make it so previews don't have priority for selection? If I place an object like a small power pole that in a later stage I want to upgrade to a big power pole (2x2 so you can't use the upgrade planner), it won't let me select the small power pole for circuit connections or changing settings or anything because the later stage preview takes priority for selection.

Hmm, previews should be underneath everything else for selection.

I'm unable to reproduce the situation you described: when having a small power pole on top of a large power pole preview, you can still select the small power pole.

If you're still having issues, could you provide more details, e.g. a screenshot of a the situation bothering you?
