Roboport Technology


A mod that adds different researches for roboports! Every 'tier' or upgrade adds the same value (by default). Vanilla is 100%, level 2 would be 200%, and level 3 300%, level 4 is 400%.

Got this error when trying to put down an energy roboport. Its a game created after 2.0 but mod was activated a while after starting that game

Could you give me more details, what research levels are you on, what was heppening, etc? maybe a savefile could help me as well. This bug seems to be really difficult to track down.

Hi, I get this when I try to either place down or upgrade energy roboports, as for the research levels, the first one of each of the energy roboport upgrades work fine (Efficiency 1, Productivity 1 and Speed 1), but for the higher versions (such as with Speed 2 or Speed 3 researched) it causes crash, the difference there being in the roboport name, so that with upgrade 2 researched it is mk-e4p4s4 and with upgrade 3 its e6p6s6. Another thing I noticed is that with only upgrade 1 researched the placed down roboport is called mk.222.
I have no clue what might be causing this because in another world the upgrades work just fine.

The bug in question has been hard to trackdown, and seems to trigger only in specific cases.
Thanks for telling me , Cookiefall, that the upgrades work fine in other worlds, perhaps you could share the world file with me in which the game crashes. That way I try to debug the issue at hand.

Hopefully 3.1.0 fixes the issues regarding these craches.
I Completely re-did the entirety of checking and tracking which levels roboports are on they now work with multiple forces and research tree's.

So it doesnt crash anymore, but in one of the worlds I tried the logistic roboport seems to be stuck in its 0000 stage

When you say "one of the worlds" do you mean the lab environments? Because in my testing with Editor Extensions the lab environment has their own proper upgrades and researches without affecting the actual world.

I play on a different world alone and in multiplayer with friends, it was on one of the MP worlds, it works as it should now though so maybe it just needed a refresh or something

Might have been the update timer that had some hickups. Especially on larger bases it might take a little bit to upgrade all roboports to their full versions, or you could use the upgrade tool to speed it up. Thanks for letting me know it works as inteded.
