You are a few researches away from being able to safely extract the Boompuff gas without it exploding in your face! Use the gas in flamethrowers, or explosives production
Its quite annoying to go through 5 different researches for farming a plant. give us an option to disable them and straight up stop them from exploding
Ah I see, you play Factorio for fun rather than toil. I will add a mod setting option to remove the explody mechanic, in the mean time just use the console to research the required researches as a temporary fix.
