You are a few researches away from being able to safely extract the Boompuff gas without it exploding in your face! Use the gas in flamethrowers, or explosives production
Contrary to natural boompuffs which appear green (like trees), the planted boompuffs are black. I'm not sure if this is intended, but it looks a bit weird.
Yea - like other plantables, the plantable versions have a custom colour for the minimap. I chose black, cause they explode, and it felt more appropriate that the white of the yumako and jellystems. And it was different from the other colours of the other trees from my other mods too.
