i put 1 in to use as a buffer and to keep track of how much is in the pipeline but it dosnt seem to connect to pipes next to it i tryed rotating it thinking i placed it the wrong way but i didnt

I tried it and it seems fine to me! Note that the small storage tank has pipe connections on all four sides. The small inline storage tank only has pipe connections on two sides.

Can you post a screenshot please? And a save file. It may be some other mod that is causing the issue. Create a new game, save it, upload the save file, then post the link here.

ill try with a new game before i reload the old 1 i broke something in it and its realy slowing it down also not sure if/how to post tat stuff here might b easyer to invite u to the game while the issue is present

ok tats weird but i think i mightve found a way for u to find it i placed the tanks down then infinity pipes and connected them with pipes for the test worked fine but wondering y it worked i tryed retating 1 tank then both tanks stoped working like they where disconnected even tho the pipes where in place i cant put a screenshot here but i can send it on steam idk bout the save file i still think itd b easyer to just host it and send u an invite

some bobs mods where updated so i checked to c if it was fixed its not

I think I'm seeing the same problem.
If you place a pipe, and then a small storage tank, they won't connect. You have to place the pipe after the small storage tank. The problem is the same with the small inline storage tank. Have you checked the order of placement? If you don't see the problem, I'll dig into the mod combination and see if that's the problem.

I have also seen it, It happens on loading a new save, too. Disabled the squeek through mod, and it seems to work now. Weird mod interaction?

The worse problem is that if you DO get the pipe and small inline storage tank to connect, after you exit the game and load from save they might disconnect.

Spargue is right, seems to work okay with squeak through 2 disabled.

i guss thats good to know but still very disappointing the small inline storage tanks make for great buffers and meters since you cant wire pipes might seem like nothing but i use them often even more often now that a single line of pipes can only be so long
