in some other thread you told me the gas venting pump was ment to get rid of fluids, and increase or decrease contamination, depending on the fluid, but must those be gases, or can they be any fluids, because it appears not to be working with water

ok, it Works just fine withy gases, I guess it wont work with fluids (liquids)

Gasses only.
And there's some gasses that don't vent too, but I've increased the number that can be vented recently, so I've lost track of exactly what can be vented.
