Actually in the 0.15 version and using just Bob's you don't need to make coke; just build a Chem Mixing station (the red stone oven) and hook it up to water then add coal. Alternatively you can make it from coal if you have the Bioindustry and/or Angel mods (and if you use Angel's then making it from Coke/CO2 is the only way)
