It's kinda weird that the ecology module can be researched before researching air filtering. You can't craft the module without the filter anyway.

Also I think there could be a new tier of air scrubber that does even more stuff. There is a amazing air scrubber design by https://mods.factorio.com/user/Hurricane046 and is under CC BY license. I'm not seeing any mod that use them yet though so I'm suggestin.

Air scrubber design is actually fire, maybe it's not a bad idea to bring in second tier of purifiers as far as these assets are free to use.
