All filters claim (in the entity info) that they use 50kW/s
Despite that:
- lvl1 filter description says that it is a passive technology, and doesn't use electricity
- lvl2 filter uses 150kW/s as a fact
So what the intended usages were?
Also, lvl2 filter has 100kW drain, which is kinda... unexpected
Tier 1 air filter machines indicate a usage of 50kW because behind the scenes they use air filters as "fuel". Note that air filters have a fuel value from which you can calculate how long it will last.
Tier 2 and 3 air filter machines have two categories of power usage: passive and active. The active power usage is consumed when there is actual pollution in the machine that is being cleaned. Passive power (or drain) is always consumed to perform the sucking in of pollution operation. Those fans won't power themselves you know!
