g [Modular Turrets][Compat request]

Hi! Recently started doing some crazy rampant runs and found that Modular turrets aren't loaded automatically. It's a mod that adds a lot of different turret types.

Thought I'd post about it here so you could possibly update to allow for compatibility. (if this is a bug and is supposed to work already then oops!)

Hi! Thanks for reporting this!

It definitely must be a bug. Modular turrets is actually one of the main mods I use when play testing mod changes, so it definitely used to work! Something must have changed.

It would help if you could link me a save file I could use to test directly. It saves me the trouble of having to reproduce the bug myself. If you can, I'll take a look and let you know what I find!

So oddly I think they are being detected as Vehicles and not turrets! as soon as I researched Vehicle support it started to load the turrets normally.
This is odd due to them being classified as "Ammo-Turrets" correctly in the lua file(did a quick sniff to see what was up)

I loaded the file you linked, but the chests worked with modular turrets as expected. If you are able to reproduce this bug again, let me know and I'll take a look!

Nevermind! I found the issue!

It's actually caused by EndgameCombat (and the rampant patch version). The mod destroys and replaces turrets occasionally without raising any event, so other mods have no way to track the new entities.

I just uploaded 1.1.42 that should fix the issue for turrets you place from now on, but you'll have to activate the shortcut:

CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+BACKSPACE

manually at first to reset turrets that have already been placed down. Let me know if you need any more help!

Interesting! thanks for taking a look. I did notice it was On and off and that shortcut really saved me a bit. I'll update.
EndGameCombat seems to cause a bunch of small issues with other mods too haha. Hopefully this fixes any other issues people have had with it with ammoLoader
