All Seeing Satellite

Launch satellites into space and let them be your eyes in the sky! After launching sufficient satellites, unlock the ability to toggle on and off the fog of war, scan new territory, or enter "Satellite Mode".

g [Not a bug] Can't get the satellite into orbit (1.0.0)

I installed this mod and put the satellite into the rocket payload bay. When I select the rocket destination, there's an orbit option, but clicking it does nothing.

Hello! Apologies for the issue, but thanks for the report!

Are you playing with Space-Age by chance? If so, have you tried checking the "Send to orbit automatically" checkbox?

Either way, will investigate regardless.

Yeah, I only kept this mod and Space-Age, then created a new save. No matter whether I check the "Send to orbit automatically" option or not, the rocket destination's orbit selection doesn't respond at all. My game version is 2.1.11.

Just want to make sure I am understanding correctly: is the rocket not launching at all when a satellite is loaded? or is the rocket launching with the satellite, but it is not contributing to the count of satellites in "orbit"?

Also, if you execute the command /all_seeing.satellites_launched, what count(s) does it list?

After the satellite is loaded, the rocket selects an orbit as its destination, the rocket doesn't launch. Using the command, the result is Nauvis:0.

I'm not sure I follow when you say "the rocket selects an orbit as its destination"; that is to my knowledge, rockets don't select a destination outside of when the "Automatic requests from space platforms" checkbox is checked in the rocket-silo GUI.

Additionally, I've checked both versions 0.7.3 (2.0) and 1.0.0 (2.1), to which I cannot recreate the issue you are experiencing (rockets successfully launched with satellites and contributed to the "orbit" count)

If you are comfortable, do you mind sharing your mod-list/mod-list.json and/or a save in which you are experiencing this issue? I would like to get to the bottom of this, as I believe the rockets/satellites "should" be launching in the contexts you've mentioned.

Was thinking on this a bit, and I wanted to double check (apologies for the perhaps dumb question), but do you have a have a space-platform, but no cargo-landing-pad placed on the same surface as the rocket-silo?

That is, from the above scenario, I was able to recreate what you described in terms of the "Orbit" destination being available, but nothing happening when clicked; as well as the "Send to orbit automatically" checkbox not doing anything. After placing a cargo-landing-pad on the same surface as the rocket-silo, both options worked (manual and automatic).

Well, It's my fault, I didn't set up the cargo landing pad.
