Five compact 3x3 advanced assembling machines with 48-frame native mechanical animations and crafting speeds of 20, 40, 80, 160 and 320. Affordable starter recipes and independent planet unlocks with Space Age; base-game progression without it.
Mods introducing new content into the game.
Version: 1.0.2
Date: 2026-10-14
Balancing:
- Make the green assembler available after Automation 2 with a small assembling-machine-2 recipe and 50 red/green research cycles.
- Replace previous-tier machines, large module costs and consumed planetary buildings with small direct starter recipes.
- Unlock orange, purple and blue independently through five locally produced carbide, holmium or lithium items; unlock white after the first cryogenic plant.
- Remove additional planetary science and quantum-processor gates from the colored assemblers.
- Reduce active power to 375 kW, 750 kW, 1.5 MW, 3 MW and 6 MW; retain crafting speeds and startup options.
Graphics:
- Use 48-frame offline-rendered mechanical cycles with rotating drive/cutter parts, reciprocating tooling and staged press motion.
- Add a subtle cold-work effect and a rendered circulating surface for the final chamber.
- Keep cabinets stationary and use one cropped native working-animation layer per tier, without runtime animation callbacks.
Info:
- Combined working sheets contain 805,824 texels, about 3.1 MiB as raw RGBA. Increased animation detail uses more area than 1.0.1, but about 90% less than the full-cabinet 1.0.0 sheets.
- Four isolated forces passed production-trigger unlocks without supplying science packs; the compatibility fixture covers 45 loader combinations and 20 fluid/rotation cases.
Version: 1.0.1
Date: 2026-10-14
Optimizations:
- Crop native working-animation frames to the moving internal tools and final-tier fluid effect; draw the stationary cabinet once.
- Reduce combined working-animation atlas area by 96% while preserving all 24 poses per tier and their sprite alignment.
Info:
- No runtime Lua animation callbacks or gameplay changes.
Version: 1.0.0
Date: 2026-10-14
Features:
- Reduce the machine footprint from 5x5 to vanilla-sized 3x3 and move all four fluid connections onto the new boundary.
- Add crafting-speed tiers 40, 80, 160 and 320 with increasing power, material and research costs.
- Use planetary materials and research gates with Space Age, with a base-game progression when the DLC is absent.
Graphics:
- Add distinct green, orange, purple, blue and white designs progressing from mechanical assembly to Space Age processing, matching Matt's Logistics belt colors.
- Animate internal tools with native working sprite frames; keep the cabinet fixed.
- Reserve the animated fictional dark-matter chamber for the final white tier.
Changes:
- Preserve original speed-20 prototype names, recipe, research and startup options.
- Remove a redundant recipe-category declaration and obsolete mining field; only include crafting categories that exist.
- Repair malformed locale data and add English and Russian names for the new tiers.
Info:
- Factorio 2.0.77 isolated validation retained 40 existing machines and passed 45 Miniloaders Redux input/output combinations.
- Two-input/two-output fluid production passed at four rotations for each of the five machines.
- Existing 5x5 layouts need adjacent inserters, loaders and pipes moved one tile closer.
