This mod gives you the ability to adjust all the prototype options related to quality, allowing you to play the way you want. Options for all quality tiers, names, modules, labs, science packs, assembly machines, furnaces, mining drills, insterters, capacitors, electric poles, beacons, chests, wagons, inventory grids, roboports, robots, tesla weapons, weapon range, and asteroid collectors. With the latest factorio experimental upon us, I will begin transitioning the mod into the new defaults. This should take a few days to iron out everything, so hold tight and it should be coming soon. Once I get the current adjustment points updated to reflect the in-game defaults, then I can start adding in all the new stuff.

I ended up just doing a late night crunch and doing it all in one go. I hope the new functionality works well, and I tested most of the options. But its already getting really late and I feel like its complete. The release should be live shortly for people to try out on the new experimental branch.

Awesome to see the mod updated so quickly! Currently doesn't load without Spage Age; "spoil_ticks_multiplier" needs an if space-age guard, as the setting in settings.lua is guarded on that, so it nils

thanks for the heads up, I will do that when I get up in the morning

ok, the bugfix for that should be live now. I was up late and that was one of the last things I added, must have been tired.

This is such a bizarre crash.

Failed to load mods: Error while loading quality prototype "epic" (quality): beacon_power_usage_multiplier must be >= 0.01 but 0.01 was given.
Modifications: Quality › Adjustable Quality

All I did to cause this is set the Epic quality level to 9.

Using version 2.1.2 and factorio version 2.1.7.

I"ll try updating to version factorio 2.1.8. DOn't know.

interesting, maybe they really meant that it must be > 0.01. I will need to try recreating the issue and decide how to approach the fix for this.

yeah the clamp required >= 0.02 not 0.01, small adjustment and that is resolved.
