g Burner generator graphical hiccup

Hi, great mod! I have an issue where when the burner generator turns on, it causes my system to stutter for a fraction of a second. The whole game stops - movement, etc, every time the generator activates. I tried reducing graphics settings, but that did not fix it. Moving the generator out of my field of view does, so it seems to be related to the animation/graphics.
