FAQ

Q. I like the logistic robot mechanics as they are.

A. Don't install this mod, then.

Q. This doesn't meaningfully nerf my endgame megabase where I have worker robot speed 2147483647 unlocked.

A. Okay.

Q. Robot Attrition already does the punishing-bulk-bots-for-everything thing.

A. Maybe so, but bots are not all that expensive to replace once you have production set up. I want to actually put a limit on their throughput.

Q. You fool. You moron. You absolute rube. I can just put down like six requesters for green circuits and dump them on a belt.

A. A belt, you say? Fascinating.

Q. If you don't like bots being used for bulk transport, don't use them for bulk transport. Why make a mod that nerfs them? Why not make a mod that removes them?

A. I like the idea of bots as an extra transport method with different advantages and disadvantages to belts and trains, I simply think they are too powerful and nullify the part of the game that is the most interesting to me. My brain is also funny in that if I make a self-imposed rule I will feel terrible constantly while playing for "leaving money on the table" so to speak, but if I make an entirely optional mod that enforces that rule the friction goes away.

Q. Why are all of the previous questions phrased as statements? Why are you using the FAQ section to shadowbox with an imagined bot-evangelist figure who does not exist?

A. lmao
