Adds a couple advanced recipes that allows converting of wood into oil products. Uses all vanilla items & fluids; no custom items or fluids added that need new chains to deal with. Does have some basis in reality. Can optionally be used along side the existing Wood gasification mod.
Mods introducing new content into the game.
Version: 0.0.5 Date: 2022/05/31 Bugfixes: - Added catalyst_amount property to Wood to Oil recipe so production stats do not report this recipe as "producing" 4 sulfuric acid Balance: - Advanced Wood Gasification: decreased wood input requirement from 10 -> 6 and increased petroleum gas yield from 25 -> 35 - Net result should allow wood -> petrol -> solid fuel to actually net some energy gain - Wood to Oil Processing: decreased wood input requirement from 8 -> 6, decreased sulfuric acid input from 12 -> 10, and increased oil yield from 7 -> 15 - While this process is still not self sufficient and there is still a net energy loss (going from wood -> petrol -> sulfur -> sulfuric acid (+ more wood) -> oil -> oil processing -> heavy oil cracking -> light oil and petrol gas conversion to solid fuels), the loss is marginal now
Version: 0.0.4 Date: 2021/10/25 Changes: - Updated to Factorio version 1.1 - My "Advanced Wood to Oil Processing" technology now has a prereq of my "Advanced Wood Gasification" tech. Hopefully this will better illustrate using both recipes together for better outcomes. Bugfixes: - Fixed compatibility with Wood Gasification mod after that mod author added a recipe that went by the same internal name as one of mine.
Version: 0.0.3 Date: 2019/17/07 Balance: - Minor tweak to Advanced Wood to Oil Processing recipe to consume more sulfuric acid and complete in less time.
Version: 0.0.2 Date: 2019/17/07 Balance: - Major rebalance. - Basic wood to oil process replaced with Advanced Wood Gasification (with only Petroleum Gas output). - Should work along side existing Wood gasification mod. - Advanced process rebalanced as well.
Version: 0.0.1 Date: 2019/12/07 Features: - Initial release
