Have you used the Space Exploration mod? This idea seems like it would work really well alongside what they are doing. I'm a bit surprised it's not a part of SpaceEx already.

I have! Earendel and the whole Space Exploration team does great work. Originally I had planned to make this more of a companion mod to work alongside Space Exploration, and if possible I would like to make them compatible, but the scope grew too big. As of right now I'd like to get What Lies Within to the point where it's a solid standalone overhaul mod, and at that point look at making it play nicely with the really popular ones.
