Water As A Resource Extended

Turns water into a finite, depletable resource in Factorio 2.0+. Waterbodies shrink visually as pumps drain them, regenerate over time, and can be extended with waterfill technology.

Hi, thank you for your report! I'll look into this.

In the meantime, is there any additional context you could provide? anything you can think of that could be relevant, plus some of my questions below:

  • how long were you using the mod / pumping the water before this happened?
  • did you install the mod into existing save or started new one with this mod enabled?
  • did it happen more than one time?
  • did you recently build or destroy offshore pumps?
  • was the waterbody big or small?
  • did you recently used landfill or waterfill?
  • was the waterbody almost full, halfway depleted or almost fully depleted?
  • was the waterbody currently being actively pumped from or rather not pumped and thus in process of regenerating water?
  • did you use any mods that could potentially interfere with water tiles, landfills or offshore pumps?
  • have you changed default mod settings to some other combination?
