Turn Factorio into a survival challenge where combat, not factory-building, drives your progression.
Warborn removes the peaceful early game and throws you straight into endgame-level combat while you only have a starter weapon: enemies are fully evolved from the very start. Your research is no longer powered by science packs — instead, you must fight, harvest enemy remains, and bring their tissues back to your lab to unlock new tech.
Key Features
- Max evolution from start: Enemy evolution factor is set to 1.0 at game start — you’ll immediately face big and behemoth biters, spitters, and worms.
- Corpse harvesting: Biters, spitters, worms, and spawners leave mineable corpses that yield unique tissues. These tissues are your new science packs.
- Tissue lab & tech tree: A new tissue lab consumes these tissues to unlock weapons, ammo, defenses, and upgrades. Vanilla techs outside the new tree are disabled for a focused combat progression.
- Adjusted recipes: Some of the recipes are reworked to fit the new progression.
- Factory-free survival: Electricity technologies are disabled — no assembling machines, no power grid. You can still craft ammo and weapons using burner drills and furnaces, and the tissue lab works on burnable fuel as well.
