Various Cargo Bays

The engineer leans back as the space platform arrives at its destination. The launch bays make hundreds of cargo pods light up the sky before the busy spacecraft continues its interplanetary journey.

The engineers watch on in astonishment as dozens of crates disappear into the seemingly endless void of the storage bay. Despite having constructed it themselves, they can't help but wonder: "Is it bigger on the inside?"

Introduces two new cargo bays into the game. Both are unlocked with the vanilla cargo bay and are balanced around vanilla gameplay. They situationally outperform the regular cargo bay without replacing or invalidating it.

Pod bay

The pod bay is a cargo bay that has been optimised to deploy and receive cargo pods as fast as possible. While it features very little storage, it has two cargo pod hatches, allowing for fast and space efficient loading and unloading of space platforms. Ideal for short haulers that often stop planetside.

Storage bay

The storage bay is a cargo bay that has been optimised for storage. While it can store more than twice as much as an ordinary cargo bay, it does not feature any cargo pod hatches. Ideal for long haulers and items that stack poorly.

Graphics

This mod features lovingly handcrafted sprites based on vanilla assets.
