Removes the restrictions on productivity modules in beacons and allows those modules to affect ALL recipes. Also provides settings to change vanilla beacon stats. All features can be disabled individually - no forced side effects.

g SE Compatibility

SE marked this mod as incompatible with itself in the most recent update, claiming that it interferes with their module mechanics.

Unlimiting productivity mechanics has much bigger effects on SE than on the base game (from infinite resource generation loops to spaceship speed being messed up). If you want to use the mods together, you can open go to your mods folder (for Windows usually either in the game directory or in %appdata%\factorio), extract the SE zip file, open the info.json with a text editor and remove the "UnlimitedProductivity" line.

If you are just interested in disabling the overload mechanic, such an option is on the TODO list for SE; until then, the method outlined above will work. If you don't want to mess up the balance too much, you should however disable all options except "Prevent SpaceExploration beacon overload".

Couldn't the person using this mod with Space exploration technically instead of extracting SE, extract this mod, go into info.json, and rename the mod. This has the direct benefit of convenience for when SE gets updated, since the blacklist is based on mod name itself, and yes, SE does get fairly regular updates.

Yes.

Whenever this mod updates, you'll have to rename the new version - but that is probably rare enough to cause minimal inconvenience.
The point about UP breaking SE still stands though - ubiquitious infinite loops and broken mechanics are a bigger problem than just sub-optimal balance...

What I did is make a separate version of the mod whose internal name was Unlimited-Productivity.
