Unipipe

Linked pipes that fill or extract from a single globally (planet-wide or galaxy-wide) linked storage, one per fluid type. Set the fluid type in the GUI or automatically based on pipe connections and the contents will be shared among all other unipipes with that fluid type. Pairs well with Unichest mod and its included selection tool for setting fluid filters.

g Factorissimo Support Pull Request

Hi zysnarch! I'm a big fan of Unipipe and wanted to make an enhancement to support Factorissimo surfaces. I've modified the code to add an option that lets Factorissimo surfaces (even recursively nested ones) be recognized as being the same as the surface they're placed on. It seems to be working well in my testing, and doesn't even appear to need a migration to work in an existing world.

I'd love to submit it as a PR for your consideration, but instead of 3-4 changed files, my git client is reporting that my modified version of 1.0.8 has changed 18! It seems the last version uploaded to GitHub was pre-2.0.

Sorry about that! I've pushed my local changes (finally) - you can try again. Will take a look at your PR when it shows up.

Is it possible to also add this Factorissmo support to Unichest as well? I had to turn on the all surfaces to get it to work inside a factory on a planet, I'd like to be able to keep planets separate if possible but still have chests work within a factory.

Great mods the both of them either way!

Ah, I may take a look at that when I get a chance Schliematt since it's probably about the same as in Unipipe. The reason I didn't submit it to start with is because I use Kuxynator's Smart Linked Chests for chests instead. Unipipe is by far the best implementation of linked pipes, though.

Thanks for the tip about Kuxy's mod. ill give it a try.

I really like Unichest though (if factorissmo could work that would be amazing and i appreciate any effort you put in). I had found two other mods previously.

One would send items from its box to any marked with the same ID which was basically pick any of two items filter and put those on any box you wanted to receive those items. But it was random which box it sent to and could send to a box you didnt want at the moment. it also sent every item in it to the box (that would fit) so for it to send to a different box again it would need to be filled again. and it was random which it sends to so it could easily send to the previous box instead of a different one.

Another one was similar to Unichest in that it was the same inventory for all linked chests (this is one of my favorite things about Unichest). But you had to link it via a selection box. So if it was a far away box, it could be really unweildy to use. Also if any other linked box was between them youd have to make a line of other boxes and select each one along the way til you got to the box you wanted. then go back deleting the boxes on the way. That one also it was real easy to delete those boxes and you lost anything inside it. That doesnt happen with Unichest.

But ill see how this Kuxy one works. I made a post on the Unichest mod discussion about "Force Inventory Insert" mod. I also posted on that mod's page 2 weeks earlier but no response yet. Force works for normal quality items but if you filter Unichest to uncommon, rare, epic, or legend, it no longer forces items in. Im not sure which mod would need to be altered to fix that.
