I use the "placement indicators" pretty extensively while laying down pipe to find junctions. While the "maximum extent indicator" does show up in remote view, the dotted line placement indicators do not appear.

I thought maybe it had something to do with bots doing the placement, but the dotted line indicators do correctly appear after a bot places a pipe segment when outside remote view. Perhaps remote view is weird enough that it can't be supported, but I figured I'd ask :)

Interesting. It's not a bot issue, something about the player positioning... I've seen this issue before. I'll look into it, thanks

I appreciate the response! From what I saw it still wasn't working how I would expect (I think it may have been overwritten by a couple of other bug fixes). I created a PR that should fix the issue:
