Heads up!

If you are playing this mod with Space Exploration expect FPS/UPS drop.
The mod is okey on single map but SE introduces many maps aka planets. With each planet the performance goes down so whilst playable not recommended together with SE.

That is until mod author makes this ups friendly if possible for multiple maps. Cool concept though.

having tested this circumstance I don't see any performance drop either with treeees or without. Could you please provide more information about your game version, mods installed and versions as well as infos about your hardware configuration?

There is a fixed autosave by the Dev (also log file with the hardware and mod info), you can use that save to check out your mod performance. Maybe there is something that can help iron out the kinks!

Hi zingo2,

we reproduced the problem you're experiencing on your map and found that the search for candidate trees on a surface can take great lengths of time if the map has large free areas. To mitigate this problem we implemented cached lookup of tree positions, which eliminates the search for candidate trees on each surface for each algorithm run. This change is released with 4.2.1 and 3.3.1 mod version.
